Our citizenry don't like to see brazen
Brutality against a handcuffed captive.
Law enforcers ought to be more proactive,
Especially since prey was pinned to the ground...
So tell him to stand up, he is prison bound,
Surely the chaos could have been avoided,
Except for this reason:- We're DISUNITED!
Our viral pandemic did not strengthen us;
Bankruptcy Court filings appear to be furious,
Lines to banks, markets, pharmacies are long;
I fear this battle will cost more than a song!
God, kindly let not our suffering prolong;
'E Pluribus ...' Why can't we all get along?
