Stop coddling the so-called poor; Let us not be naïve.
Please don't let fakers wallow in welfare EBTs;
Restrain abuse and incentivize INITIATIVE.
Expose fraud in welfare grants, unmask the sly grantees.
Allow us to rise by our bootstraps and pursue our dreams.
Death by hunger or by extreme impoverishment
Today in this nation is rare:- No want but more schemes!
Here, I think poverty is a form of punishment,
Either due to present sloth or karmic consequence:-
We may have been in previous lives self-centered wastrels,
Or misers who believed Charity a grave offense;
Regardless of the reason, grave doubt in my mind dwells;
Did you know low-wage slaves have much less than welfare swells?
