At the acme of his brief tenure
Got assassinated by Blind Hate...
Not deserved at all that tragic fate!
All he preached was Love and Brotherhood;
Civil disobedience he also wooed.
Unfortunately-- was misunderstood;
Many saps still resort to Violence!
Loud rabble-rousing (a TV pretense):-
Al Sharpton could make King squirm in his grave!
Use more civility; Let's all behave.
Do preach for the Glory of Almighty God!
Elevate ourselves above the common clod!
