Kilimanjaro is a free-standing mountain...
It stands tall and alone on the Tanzanian plain.
Less known fact:- It is a volcano actually;
It has three craters--(Kibo, Shira, Mawenzi).
Mawenzi & Shira are believed to be extinct,
And Kibo's highest peak, Uhuru, quite distinct-
Now seemingly dormant, it may erupt again...
Just like yours truly, I don't usually complain,
Although my knees & knuckles hurt and am in pain;
Rheumatoid arthritis/gout I've endured for years...
Old age has taught me to be stoic--no more tears!
