Here on Earth human beings live...but for how long?
Over 7 billion people strong,
Marvelous fruit of the tree of evolution,
Our form thru adaptive mutation...
Sadly, Homo is still not so sapient today;
As of this writing, to our dismay,
People continue to bomb and kill each other,
Indeed, e'en brother against brother!.
East is east and West is west, and the twain do greet--
Not in peace but in battle we meet...
Shall our story end in bloody, futile defeat?
