Only now we must part after my brief sojourn;
Ulysses-like, I have to cross that darkling main,
Like his belov'd, you too may have to wait and mourn,
Mayhap, thru many seasons and lifetimes--to live
Amongst princesses,beggars,slaves,and mighty kings;
Thru all that panoply that Destiny may give,
Eagerly shall I come for you on lover's wings!
