A tormented man with sorrowful eyes
Thinks he might as well die, and so he tries:-
He grabs for the cop's gun--a futile tack;
Escape seems worse; He runs back to attack..?
Or mayhap in his mind to seize his Fate!
Rest in Peace now, friend; Will God mitigate?
You play your tragic victim's role just great!
