Undoubtedly, Uncle Sam is still the mightiest
Nation on Planet Earth, and we're still the luckiest
Citizens--with guaranteed rights inalienable-
Life, liberty to pursue whatever we're able,
Except, of course, what the law considers illegal.
Some Federal laws proscribe what States treat as legal;
Authorities on the subject are still in dispute.
May individual choice then be granted a non-suit?
On marijuana usage, laws should be uniform;
Perhaps Uncle Sam will soon agree to reconfirm
Its name and status--cannabis--good for the infirm.
Name change, I realize, will not legalize its use,
Except for those special cases where Courts can't refuse.
Sam may want access for all...(He needs more revenues.)
